Educational Authoring Tools
Spring 2021
UX, UX Research, Vue.js

For my Human-Computer Interaction second major, I did a capstone project with Christine Chen, Jessica Lim, and Jessica Timczyk.

CTAT, which stands for Cognitive Tutor Authoring Tools, are tools used to create intelligent tutors that drive the behavior of online worksheets that simulate a human tutor by providing step-by-step hints and immediate feedback to a student. They've been in development at CMU for 20 years.

On this project, I was the lead prototyper. I also contributed to the design and UX research. I used both Figma and Vue.js to prototype the end experience. Because this was a deeply technical project, my expertise was also helpful for guiding the design process.
